Thanks to the collaboration between The Genealogist and the Bronte Insieme Onlus Association, e to the availability of the Parish of Mother Church SS. Trinità in Bronte, it is now possible to develop our family history.

The work of reading and indexing the ancient baptism and marriage records kept in this church lasted for about ten years: it was made by Prof. Nunzio Longhitano (1936-2019), member of Bronte Insieme, authorized and constantly encouraged by the archpriest of that time, Mons. Vincenzo Saitta, who gave the widest availability of parish archive consultation.

The database includes 84,698 baptisms from 1737 to 1923 and 19,899 marriages from 1729 to 1933.
This inestimable work and the precious result obtained, thanks to the Bronte Insieme Association, are now freely available to everyone simply using PC or smartphone.

If you have roots in Bronte, search for your ancestors in baptisms or marriages; when you'll have found an ancestor you'll be able to go back to the beginning of the eighteenth century.
